It is early days, but as I meet the team at KPP, I am struck by the dedication, talent and strengths that each of you bring. Before I tell you more about myself, I want to acknowledge and thank Stephen. It was intended that Stephen was the CEO between Carol and the hiring of a new CEO. The impact Stephen had on KPP has been immeasurable. Stephen brought in the beginnings of a new approach for KPP – one of values based leadership and leadership at all levels of the organization. I am incredibly fortunate!
So…, I would like to tell you a bit about me. My family and I are new to Peterborough – but not Ontario. My wife and I met in Owen Sound, Ontario and moved to Saskatchewan for career opportunities. What an amazing adventure. We only intended to be in Saskatchewan for 5 years and then move back to Ontario. Well…. more than 14 years, two kids and two houses later, we finally came back. If you are looking for adventure and like meeting amazing people, I encourage you to vacation in Saskatchewan. I have fond memories of the living skies, sense of community and dynamic ecosystem. Did you know?
